Pacenote v0.5.33

A task's session can open in the Claude app or the Codex app, with the task written in for you to send.

brew update && brew upgrade --cask pacenote

Sessions in your desktop app

  • Open sessions in. Settings > Todo has a new choice: Terminal, as before, or Desktop app. It shows whether the Claude app and the Codex app are on this Mac.
  • The task written in. Continue in Claude Code opens the Claude app's Code tab in the task's folder, and Continue in Codex opens the Codex app there, each with the task and what came before it. Neither sends it: you do, after the Claude app asks you to confirm the folder. A very long one leaves what came before for the session to read with task_context.
  • Found once you send it. The task's work log says it is waiting for you to send it, then shows the session as soon as it starts. A Codex session continues in the Codex app; a Claude session continues in your terminal, as the Claude app has no link to continue one. One you never sent leaves the log once you open another, or after a day.
  • Your terminal otherwise. Without the app on this Mac, Continue opens your terminal instead and says so.

Also

  • Your Macs hand over at once the first time. A Mac that just started took Pace for a moment before it found your other Mac, then waited 15 seconds before it could take Pace over when you used it. That first moment no longer counts.
