Pacenote v0.6.12
Todo comes first: a new install starts with your tasks and no Slack app to make, and Pace is optional.
brew update && brew upgrade --cask pacenoteTodo
- In progress and waiting. More > Mark in progress, or a session on a task in the last day, puts it first in Open. More > Waiting on someone else moves it to Waiting until a collection finds something new in its thread, or until Back to open.
- Today. Above the tabs: the ask waiting on you, the task to pick up, and the one waiting longest on someone else. Counted from the list, with no model.
- New task (⌘N). A task of your own, in the project its words point to, which you can change.
A first run with no Slack app
- A new install opens on three steps: your AI, where your work is (this Mac, then Slack through your AI tool's own connector), and a first collection. Then Todo opens.
- Pace is optional. It stays off until you set it up, from the first run or Settings > General. Meanwhile it does not start by itself or ask to be set up, and Overview, Runs and Pace leave the sidebar.
Upgrading
- Pace keeps answering as it did. With Todo on, Pacenote now opens on Todo and says so once; Open on Overview instead keeps Overview first.
- Your other Macs on 0.6.11 keep your Todo in step: they show a task in progress or waiting as open.
