Pacenote v0.5.4

Diagrams and charts in answers are drawn as Pacenote's app looks: its colors, its typeface and its shapes.

brew update && brew upgrade --cask pacenote

The upgrade quits the running app first and reopens it, once. Config and run history are untouched.

After you upgrade

  • With diagrams on, Settings > Sandbox says "Update needed" for the diagram renderer's image. Run "Set up built-in sandbox" once: it builds only that image again, in a few minutes. Until then diagrams render as before.

Diagrams

  • Shapes are the app's cards (white, a hairline, rounded corners), groups its wells, and lines and secondary text its muted color, all in Pretendard, the app's typeface.
  • Pace marks what a step means as the app does: the key step, where it starts, a warning, an error, or a step skipped or done. In mermaid that is A[Label]:::warn, in dot [class="warn"], with accent, primary, warn, error and muted.
  • Charts have the app's rounded bars in the logo's gradient, legends with dots, and series in its chart colors. Pie slices, gantt tasks and sequence diagrams follow the same look.
  • A mermaid block can no longer switch to another theme. A dot or vega-lite block can still set its own colors.
  • Gantt grid lines are no longer black, and pie slices no longer faded.
